Green salve

3 years ago my good friend Jen and I made 3 different salves for Christmas gifts and to use ourselves. I used all of mine up so I'm making more! Plus I have been needing some for Eva's dry nose from being sick and Tru woke up with morning with bad diaper rash. So I'm whopping up some green salve. It will take three days but that's ok! First you get some mix (google bulk herb store green salve mix) put in mason jar with organic oils. I used olive and coconut. Put in a crock pot on low filled with water and place jar in crock on top of tag. Mine has been in for over 24 hours now and I keep putting it on low 10 hour and adding water because it will start to evaporate. I will post more once it's been in there for 3 days.

Baby Custard

So I am loving my new nourishing traditions book for nourishing baby. Tru has had a rough time gaining weight and I have had the worst breast feeding experience where I can't do anything to build my milk supply due to mammory hypoplasia. I'm learning to accept that my baby won't only get breast milk and I have to ignore people around me that believe I'm not making the right choice settling for formula... Tru turned 7 months yesterday and has only gained 2 lbs since he was 4 months old. He went down on her percentile and this made me very sad :-(. So I looked up a recipe for Tru in my book and found one full of health fats. Below ill list photos of recipe and finish product
I took all the egg whites left over and ate my breakfast!

Back in the kitchen!! And this time with...

Trey! My husband randomly looked up my blog. He has encouraged me to get back in the kitchen and start cooking. Tonight we made farmers cheese. We tried to using vinegar that I made from pineapple peel but our milk wouldn't curdle so I threw in some lemon vinegar and it curdled right up! We are so excited! I'll post some photos below of our fun adventure in the kitchen doing our nourishing expeditions.

Thanks
for reading!
